The J=DNAKI (equal) FAIR is the embodiment of the initiative set up on 4 December 2017, at the observance of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (3 December), organised in the Palace of Serbia, under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, attended by over 2,000 representatives of PWD federations and associations, enterprises offering professional rehabilitation and employment to persons with disabilities and representatives of local self-governments.
The J=DNAKI FAIR, organized by the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs and the National Organization of Persons with Disabilities of Serbia, was held at the Belgrade Fair Hall 3A, on an area of 1,000 sq. m, as part of the International Belgrade Book Fair.
The fair contributes to the creation of an inclusive society while respecting the particularities and needs of all citizens and aims to inform the public about the results, activities and measures that the Ministry, within its purview, implements especially towards the vulnerable groups.
This event promotes people with disabilities and their creativity in a unique and innovative way, by organizing various cultural and artistic programs and exhibiting works created by people with disabilities (paintings, artistic photographs, objects made of wood, ceramics, glass, works on silk, cups and medals, books, brochures, magazines and other information and promotional material).
As a symbol of the activities implemented with the aim of creating a society of equal opportunities for all citizens of the Republic of Serbia, a specially designed badge with the graphic logo J=DNAKI was made.
