The Disability Shooting Sport Federation of Serbia (ISSS), founded on 26 February 2007, is the Federation of all PWD clubs, organizations and sections engaged in activities concerning disability shooting sport in the Republic of Serbia.
The main goals of the Federation are to improve the development of disability shooting sport, promotion and popularization of shooting sport, protection of the interests of shooters, PWD socialization and inclusion in social activities, work systematization and adoption of unique competition rules, unification of all shooting sport clubs, organizations and sections, as well as provision of assistance for successful engagement in shooting sport activities, regardless of the type of disability.
The Federation consists of 12 basic shooting sport organizations of persons with disabilities (4 shooting sport clubs that are regular members and 8 sports associations) with over 170 registered sport shooters with disabilities.
The Federation organizes and delivers the Serbian serial air rifle PWD league, team and individual competition, in cooperation with the Association of Paraplegics and Quadriplegics of Serbia, where the aims include recreational engagement in paralympic sport shooting activities, mass participation and popularization of sport shooting, as well as socialization of PWDs through a regular competition system; Serbian standard air rifle and air pistol PWD league, team and individual competition, which constitutes a starting point and basis for the selection of national team members and participation in international competitions; Serbian PWD serial air rifle cup finals, team and individual competitions, and national air and small-bore rifle championships, team and individual competition in all disciplines of the National and International Program.
Also, the Federation produces the necessary normative acts, works towards improving the material and all other prerequisites for engagement in sport shooting activities, provides conditions for professional training and education of personnel, selects and works with the most promising sport shooters, including in respect of their participation on the international scene.
