Muscular Dystrophy Association of Vojvodina

The Dystrophy Association of Vojvodina was founded by a group of people with muscular dystrophy and their parents on 27 April 1973 with the view of protecting the rights and interests of citizens with permanent disability condition, arisen due to progressive muscular dystrophy and related neuromuscular diseases.

Today, the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Vojvodina, with its network of 6 basic organizations on the territory of Vojvodina, has 345 members, among whom also Robert Travica, chess vice-champion and FIDE arbiter (FA), and Nemanja Panovic, member of national para swimming team and current state champion in several discipline. The office of the president of the Association is discharged by Aleksandra Panovic.
