National Association of Students with a Handicap is a civil society organization formed in result of the long-term work of three organizations in the territories of ​​Kragujevac, Nis and Belgrade. These three organizations have been building for more than ten years, and are still building, a path that leads to a more tolerant society and an environment where diversity is respected and discrimination reduced to a minimum. The association was founded on 30 November 2010, aiming to ​​promote the position of young people and students with disabilities, as well as young people from other vulnerable social groups, at the national level.

In its 12-year long work, owing primarily to the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs – the Department for the Protection of Persons with Disabilities, the Association has supported, in different ways, over 500 students with disabilities who enrolled in the desired college or university. Support is most actively delivered in Belgrade, Kragujevac, Nis, and in the last two years also in Uzice and Paracin.

One of the most significant contributions of the Association is the socialization of its members and the provision of support at all levels, in order to facilitate their inclusion in the society, academic community and life in general.

The Association currently gathers 6 organizations from Belgrade, Nis, Kragujevac, Uzice and Paracin, and its president is Srdjan Mrscevic.
